We welcome new patients who live within our catchment area. You will be registered with Dr Walji, but you have the right to state a preference about which doctor you see.

In order to register, all patients must:

You can register with practice by visiting in person or ringing reception for further guidance.

  • Live within our catchment area (please ask a receptionist to see our catchment map).
  • Be eligible for free NHS care. If you are from abroad, you must be staying in the UK for an identifiable and settled purpose, for a period of more than six months. The reception staff are entitled to check you are eligible and will ask for proof to confirm you are entitled to NHS treatment.  If you are not eligible, you will be seen as a private patient and charged a fee.
  • Medical treatment is available from the date of registration. Please contact reception for further information.

Once you have been accepted as a patient, your medical records will be transferred to us.

Our receptionist will make an appointment for you to see our healthcare assistant who will perform a routine check and take a medical history. You will be asked to bring along any repeat medicines you are taking and you will be asked to provide a urine sample for analysis.
