Welcome to Dr Walji & Colleagues

We are a training Practice in Balsall Heath, Birmingham offering NHS services to around 5,600 patients.

We are part of Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group (BSOL CCG).

We are proud to announce that we are now a Armed Forces veteran friendly accredited practice. Being accredited means that we can better identify and treat Veterans, refer them, where appropriate, to dedicated NHS services (such as OpCOURAGE: the Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service and OpRESTORE: the Veterans Physical Health and Wellbeing Service). Ensuring that Due Regard is applied under the Armed Forces Act 2021 to make sure that the Armed Forces community, including Veterans, should face no disadvantage in accessing health services and should receive priority care for military attributable conditions, subject to clinical need.

As part of our NHS duty, the Government requires us to send them data on how many of our patients have had Female Genital Mutilation. This is so that support services can be planned and set up appropriately across England. This will happen automatically. You do not need to do anything. For more information about this please click on this link: Patients – your FGM information and how we use it – NHS Digital

If you do not wish your data to be shared then please email: enquiries@nhsdigital.nhs.uk

although the information will go to the Government, it will not show up on Patient online access to medical records app.
